Submissions

MADA is for readers by writers

We publish new, interesting, unusual, odd, absurd, weird and different stories for readers who are bored with the same old novels + anthologies.

We love the misfit. The writer who does not conform. Those who take risks.

We consider all genres.

We publish writers who do not want to deal with mainstream publishers.

We are interested in working with:

Writers who have no formal “training.”

Writers who write on their lunch break.

Writers with caring responsibilities.

Writers of neurodiversity.

Writers who feel formula is crushing their creativity.

Writers from underrepresented groups.

Writers who write for the love, passion, and the hell of it!

We believe many talented writers from diverse backgrounds are being squeezed out, or crushed to conform by mainstream publishing. We want to hear your voice, not the next clone voice. Here at MADA we take risks alongside you.

We offer our writers 50% of profit from their book sales and a book launch event in Manchester, UK. The event will also announce our annual competition winners too and any other books we are launching that year. (If you are overseas and can’t make it, or have other commitments, you can record us a message to screen at the event.)

So what are you waiting for?

Please submit your manuscript like this…

RE: Submission of (manuscript title) by (your name)

In the body of the email please type a covering letter (including the length of your work, why you wrote it and what it’s about.)

We look forward to hearing from you
